    Our methodology at BCNLIP

In Barcelona we speak two Latin languages: Catalan and Spanish. These two languages coexist in perfect harmony and it could be said that the Catalans are completely bilingual people. From abroad, sometimes it is thought that Barcelona is not a good place to learn Spanish, or they are completely unaware of Catalan and do not know that this is the native language of Catalonia. Consider that Catalan is the ninth language in Europe, the eighth on the Internet, and is an official language in Andorra and co-official with Spanish in 3 Spanish autonomous communities (Catalonia, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands).

We don’t just teach a language, we invite you to live it. Our unique methodology is based on total immersion, allowing learning to happen both inside and outside the classroom. We offer a variety of activities designed to integrate the language into your daily life, creating meaningful and memorable experiences.

Every Friday, we hold workshops and immersion classes

    Join the Community

This level takes you out of the classroom to explore Barcelona from the inside, immersing yourself in its history, art, gastronomy, and traditions.

In addition to interactive outdoor classes, your integration into local culture is deepened through sessions on Spanish history, legislation, and life and culture in Spain.
